Quality Inn Overlander Homestead

We stopped here to break up a long road trip and had an excellent meal in the restaurant. It’s a friendly family-run motel, with clean, modern rooms in a homestead style. They’re all on the ground floor, so access is easy. The hotel bed was the most comfortable I’ve found in years.

Amanda and Charles have done a wonderful job here. The food is excellent, really first class, and the bar has a great selection of craft beers. The staff are incredibly friendly, and Tom is a true barman. This is a great example of how a family hotel should be run. Keep up the great work!

The shower recess door wouldn’t stay shut while the water was running, so the bathroom floor got very wet. Apart from that, the room was spacious, the air conditioning worked well, and the stay was quite good all things considered. We’d stay here again.

Staff were very helpful, and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. It’s an odd little old-fashioned place, with sausage dogs roaming around. The family option has a tiny second room off the main one with two single beds. It’d be perfect for little kids, but a bit pokey for older ones.
