The main streets are just a short walk away, and the spot itself is beautiful and very comfortable. This was the sweetest motel I've stayed at in a long, long time. A must if you're visiting Ross, Tasmania. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

There was plenty of room, parking right by the door, clean rooms, comfortable beds and linen, and even a thoughtful little bathroom night light. The village is only a very short walk away. I did miss having shampoo in the shower and a small long-life milk, but a walk to the shop turned into coffee and toasties too, which is good for the town! Lovely stay.

Wish we'd had more than one night here. The grounds were beautifully kept, with seasonal flowers and greenery, plus adorable bantam chickens and chicks wandering freely alongside the ducks. Cottage #7 was spacious, with two bedrooms, each furnished with a large, very comfortable bed, table, desk and TV. My room also had a smaller, child-sized single bed that would suit a smaller person perfectly.

The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the place felt relaxed and private. Ross is a gorgeous little town. We got there earlier than expected because we hadn't realised how close it was to Hobart, and were rather gruffly told to come back later. I understand, but a smile goes a long way in hospitality.

The garden setting was lovely, with chickens, ducks, and ducklings around. The units were spacious and immaculately clean, and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Ross is a beautiful village, and the bakery was a nice extra. Highly recommend it as a place to break up the drive between Launceston and Hobart.
