Banyan Tree Resort - Campsite

The five sweet, friendly dogs really gave the place a homely feel, and seeing the two pythons was a first for me. Our room and bathroom were modern, comfortable, and clean, just what we wanted after a day out exploring. The on-site pub and restaurant have a relaxed atmosphere, and the food was tasty, so we could unwind without going anywhere. A characterful, unusual place with good vibes. I'd recommend it.

We liked it so much that we went back on our second night in the area. The pub had a great feel, the staff were lovely, and both the food and live music were amazing. We even got to hold their pet snake.

We really disliked our stay. We paid $217 for a basic bedroom with very little comfort, which was far too much. The place looked like a dump, with rubbish, tools, trucks, and boats piled around. There was no 5G access, and the WiFi kept dropping out and was practically unusable. The TV wouldn't work without WiFi, and the remote's batteries were dead. I'd avoid it.

A lovely place to stay, with spacious caravan sites under big shady trees, nice facilities, and a pool. The new owners and the whole family are fantastic, really friendly. The cold beer on tap was delicious, and there was a nice wine selection too. We enjoyed the burgers, and the pizzas looked great. They also had live music. It's less than an hour from some beautiful swimming holes in Litchfield NP. We'd definitely stay again. Well done, Banyan Tree.
