It's about a ten-minute walk to the town centre, and the place is a good option for workers or anyone passing through Sale. The host is friendly and very helpful with local questions. The refurbished rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable, with enough warmth for colder months. Free WiFi and a basic breakfast are included, and the rooms have a toaster and microwave. The bathrooms are clean and fresh, with great hot water pressure.

The motel room itself is lovely, clean, has everything needed, and has a great view. Just be aware it's above a backpackers hostel. Everyone seems nice and is having fun, but the loud music from downstairs can be bothersome. I'd join in if I weren't exhausted from my week down here and just wanting to rest. On Saturday, the music started at 0730. If possible, ask for a room on the service station side of the complex. The view isn't as good, but it's quieter and away from the party atmosphere.

I stayed here for two months. The rooms are good and cleaned weekly, and Danny, the manager, is a helpful, good guy. It costs $360/w for two people in a room. I'd recommend it to backpackers in the area.

The reception staff were friendly and accommodating when we arrived to check in. Our room was neat, clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a lovely view over the river. It worked well for an overnight stop or for people sent to the area for work. I left a T-shirt hanging in the bathroom and called that afternoon after checking out. They were very helpful and will mail it to me if they find it. We'll be back when travelling through the area.
