The Boat Shed

The views are stunning by day and after dark, and the setting is peaceful and feels like home. With the beach and a walking trail within walking distance, there's little reason to leave. The kitchen and laundry are well equipped, and it's a great spot for bird lovers and photographers. Coles at Glebe Hill is a 15-minute drive away. The location gets 100 out of 100 from me, and it's a great choice if you want a relaxed stay with everything close at hand.

We loved settling into the Boat Shed and enjoying how peaceful the area is. The cabin was cosy and comfortable, all to ourselves, with panoramic bay views and good walking trails nearby. Hobart is a short drive away, and that trip is well worth it. The owners' messages and welcome were impeccable. When a late flight cancellation disrupted our plans, Chris was understanding and helpful, making the travel and weekend in Sandford go as smoothly as possible. The location is sublime. Chris, thank you for your kindness and for sharing your piece of paradise. We had a divine time and will definitely return.

On our first trip to Hobart, we spent two nights at the boat shed. Waking up to the water was amazing, and the accommodation was lovely. Chris went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend it, and we'll definitely book again next time we're in Hobart.
