The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the Thai restaurant on site served great food. The room was clean and comfortable, just what you’d expect from a country motel. The shower was one of the best I’ve had at a regional motel, with plenty of hot water and a strong flow. I’ll definitely stay again.

The room had a stale smell, and the fridge made such a loud, high pitched noise that we had to unplug it to sleep. The door didn’t shut properly either. The bathroom was filthy and badly in need of a full renovation, and the hairdryer was melted into its holder. The TV worked only some of the time, while the furniture and curtains looked decades old and neglected. When we arrived, other guests were frustrated because their bookings had somehow disappeared despite having confirmation emails. The office looked dirty and disorganized, and the staff there were unprofessional. Outside, the grounds were overgrown and messy. This was by far the worst motel stay I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We’d stayed here several times over the past few years without any problems, so it was disappointing to find the place in such poor shape on a recent overnight booking. The gardens were overgrown, our room window was secured with a piece of wood, and the bathroom was dirty with broken tiles by the toilet. There wasn’t any tea or coffee. We couldn’t stay in those conditions, especially at the full $155 tariff. We were given a refund, but only reluctantly and rudely. Never again.

The room was spacious and clean, and everyone I met was polite and nice. I stayed one night and felt it was worth the money.
