Scott’s Head is a lovely, quiet stop for couples travelling between Brisbane and Sydney, and the local coffee shop makes great coffee. We stayed in the front Villa, which felt wonderfully private. The place has a modern Balinese fusion surf sanctuary feel, with peaceful, roomy corners around the villas if you want to bring a yoga mat. John and Marina were fantastic hosts, leaving eggs and bread for breakfast and wine and beer to welcome us. You’re right by the beach, so you wake to the sound of waves and birds. Catching the sunrise there is a must.

John and Marina have put a ton of work into the gardens and suites. It was an ideal way to escape everyday life, and we’ll definitely return. Town is a short walk away, and the beach is right across the road for surfing. Thanks for having us, we had a great stay.

The lush Zen garden made it easy to relax, and our room was thoughtfully designed with everything we could need. We spent two nights at the Zen Garden, just 50 mt from the beach. It was a great experience, and we’ll recommend it to friends and come back.

The unexpected little extras made our stay feel perfect, and the new villas are a relaxing place to stay. We had an amazing time in a great location. If you’re breaking up the drive between Sydney and Brisbane, I highly recommend Driftwood villas in beautiful Scott's head.

The details here are lovely, from the high quality linen to the outdoor shower with hot water. John & Marina have created a luxurious, peaceful escape from the pressures of everyday life, and we absolutely love it. Driftwood is easy to recommend. Grazie mille. Jules
