The food was good and the staff really nice. The place is a very old-fashioned hotel, though, and the downstairs bar and gaming room had lots of guests and gamblers who got kind of loud late in the evening. My single room was tiny, with the mattress on the ground, and the room and restrooms could have been cleaner.

Really nice meals and great service made for a great night at the Lords Hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, and very well priced. Would highly recommend it. 10/10.

We stayed here while attending a family wedding, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. They housed all of us in lovely, modern, self-contained units, and the pricing was great. We loved our stay and can't praise the staff who looked after us enough. No hesitation recommending the place or staying again. Thanks, Lords Hotel. 10/10.

The fish was soggy, the vegetables were overcooked and not fresh, and the baked dish was more like a plate of mush. The cabbage was disgusting, with a curry and smoky flavour. The substandard food left me feeling quite ill. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Be careful what you order from the simple menu. I've never had a meal or service from staff this far below standard.
