Silver Sands Resort

The pool area was the best part of the stay, really lovely. I just didn’t get much of a resort feeling from the rest of the place. The beds weren’t very supportive, so a topper or replacement would help, and shower mats that actually soak up the water would be a useful small change. A few upgrades like that could make staying here a lot more comfortable.

We had a blast staying at Silver Sands over Christmas with our two kids, and the staff were outstanding. It’s a 3 star resort, not a 5 star one, so I kept that in mind, and I’d consider coming back. The pools are both great, though the outdoor one is frigid for hot summer days and the indoor one is less suited to those hotter days. Missing tiles are a real problem, not just an eyesore: my wife and I both cut our feet on the outdoor pool floor. The cockroach in our bathroom was another serious issue for me. Bugs and spiders really mess me up, and my wife had to come rescue me. Cockroaches in rooms shouldn’t be a thing these days. The mini golf is fun, small and incentive course, and the playground is good for younger kids who don’t want to swim. The games room and adult rooms are a bit bland, though there are a few activities. I enjoyed the stay, and hopefully next time there’ll be fewer cockroaches. It is what you pay for. There are issues that could be fixed to lift the whole place toward the upper end of a 3 star resort.

Aiycia was so quick and efficient, always smiling and happy. She went above and beyond for us, and treated my 6 year old son amazingly. She’s a real asset to your company, and because of her I’ll be back.

There’s so much to do here, and the resort is really well looked after. The pools are beautiful and cared for so well. Love this place, see you next time!
