Sheffield is such a peaceful, scenic village, and this hotel is close to everything you might need. The staff made a great impression from the start, warm and genuinely helpful. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and clearly well cared for, with a cosy feel. I had a fantastic stay and would gladly come back. Highly recommended for the setting, comfort and service.

The green space and BBQ area were immaculate, and we ended up eating outside every night. The accommodation was tidy and comfortable, with everything we needed, and some rooms even have a jet spa. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, including when reception was closed. They stayed onsite and responded to what we needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my Sheffield stay and couldn't fault the place. Highly recommend it for a visit to Cradle Mountain.

Staff were super friendly, and the room was spacious, very clean and had all the essentials. Great value too, especially with other places in the area usually overpriced. Sheffield has a great view of Mt Roland :-) I highly recommend it for Cradle Mountain trips or nearby attractions.

The motel is centrally located in town. I stayed two nights and left the sign on the outside door handle asking for my suite to be made up. All that happened was a couple of soaps and fresh towels were put out. The cleaner didn't empty the bins or make the bed. Looking back at earlier criticism, it seems this has happened before and may be how they operate.

A clean, simple place with what you need for a comfortable 1-2 day stay, and good value for a short visit. Sheffield has lots of art related activities, too. The Smart TV wouldn't connect to the Wi-Fi or sign in to the network, so we couldn't use it. It did send us to bed earlier, which was probably a good thing, but it's something they may want to look into for future guests. We had no other complaints and would absolutely book again if we're around her. It's well placed for a good night's rest.
