Shoal Bay Ave 4/14 - Shoal Bay

From Salt 3, we could stroll up the street for dinner and enjoy the ocean views along the way. It’s ideally placed in Shoal Bay, and the place was cosy and spacious. We had an amazing stay and are already talking about when we can come back.

Everything is within walking distance, from the beach to a range of restaurants and cafes. The house has incredible views, high ceilings and loads of light, plus a fabulous kitchen and comfortable beds. I’d absolutely book it again!

We had a mini getaway at Salt 3 with our family of six, and what a spot. The beach is directly across the road, and the house is beautifully fitted out. Its layout worked perfectly for a big family, with the private courtyard extending the living space. It’s a stunning, very comfortable house, and we’ll definitely visit again.

The place is stylish and well designed to make the most of the view, and the location is good. It sleeps 11, but feels quite small, with seating for only 4-6 people in the living and outdoor areas. Two bedrooms have skylights instead of windows. They’re supposed to open with the technology, but it wasn’t working and there were no instructions. For $1100-$1600 a night, it feels very expensive for just two bathrooms, and I’d expect a bathroom bin, tissues and more soap pumps.
