The views are stunning, and I’m already trying to find an excuse to hold an event here. We came for a weekend celebration and hadn’t known this lovely, tucked-away extended cottage and guest house was here. The rooms were just right, with no noise or breezes getting in. I really appreciated the in-room tea and coffee, along with the thoughtful bathroom touches. After we arrived around midday, the cheerful staff and owner soon served us a lovely lunch and drinks at the bar. I’d happily recommend it to others.

That cold evening, the hot chocolate was just what I needed to warm up. The room was already warm when I arrived, and I slept more comfortably than I have in ages. It’s got a lovely country feel, and the common area is especially welcoming, with its fireplace. The beach view, soft linen, rooms and service were all great, and breakfast was fresh and served in a way I really liked. Such a fantastic experience. I’m definitely coming back.

The views are amazing, and it’s a beautiful place to stay. The interior is lovely, though the verandah could do with a couple of coats of paint. The owners were very nice. We did expect a little more luxury for the price, since the room and bathroom were quite basic. The gravel road also had too many potholes.

Clifftop is starting to feel like a home away from home. My husband and I love staying there, and Sam, Rachel and the staff are wonderful. They do everything they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We were back for a weekend stay less than six months after our first visit, when I got married there in November. I’ve made it a goal to try every room, and I’m already looking forward to going back :)

The food was amazing, and the staff were so accommodating, treating the wedding party like family. The scenery was beautiful, making it a perfect event venue. A little walkway down to the cliffside would be lovely because it’s so beautiful there, though I understand the danger when guests have been drinking.
