The bush setting was so peaceful, with Pademelons and birds coming by, and it made our weekend away. My husband and I loved our two nights in the cottage. The wood fire kept it warm, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. A lovely place to relax and unwind. We'd recommend this quiet spot to family and friends.

The cottage made for a memorable stay, especially with the quiet bush around us, pademelons and birds visiting, and a crackling fire in the evening. My son and I spent two nights at Saintys Creek Cottage and both wished we'd had longer. It's a great base for driving to the walks and sights in southern South Bruny Island, and Alonnah is handy for facilities, including terrific pub meals.

The cottage is beautiful and roomy, with a well-equipped kitchen. It's on a large property with its own creek, where you can fish after dinner. A few things let it down, though. Bruny's other attractions are a bit of a drive away, and the gardens need attention, with weeds all over. The backyard could be even prettier with more care. Inside the cabin we saw some seriously large spiders, about the size of my hand, which was scary.

A lovely historical cottage tucked into the forest, with pademelons, birds, and a mossy garden full of ferns and mushrooms. We had to figure out how to manage the wood heater, and there's an electric heater in the bedroom. The kitchen is good, with a gas cooktop and oven, plus a great coffee machine that grinds the beans. The owners are remote, but replied promptly to enquiries.

It's a quaint, lovely spot tucked away. Nothing on Bruny is close together, so you may as well stay anywhere on the island. For privacy, seclusion, and a roaring fire on a romantic getaway, this place is a great pick.
