Big4 South Durras Holiday Park

The bush views were a real highlight, and the beach is just across the road. Though the caravan park is small, our girls had plenty to keep them busy, from movie nights and the playground to the jumping castle, go-karts, basketball, and wildlife. We’ve stayed at ALOT of caravan sites around Australia, and this is one of our favourites. It feels underrated, and the staff were super friendly. We loved our stay.

Seeing families of kangaroos come right up to us, and the colourful king parrots and lorikeets, made the stay extra special. It was peaceful here, just the kind of break from the hustle and bustle we wanted. The pool was sparkling clean and warm enough for an afternoon swim, and the clean, tidy cabins had what we needed. The kids always had something to do during the day. Gary and Simone were so welcoming and helpful, really making us feel at home. We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for families or anyone after a quiet place to unwind.

A lovely, peaceful spot with parrots, kangaroos and ducks around, plus clean amenities. As first-time caravaners, we were offered help parking when we arrived. Then we got ourselves in a mess with the awning while packing up, and a staff member came to our rescue and went above and beyond to get it sorted so we could leave. Just incredible. Our kids had birds eating right from their hands, the wildlife here is spectacular. The amenities were really clean, and the staff were lovely and so helpful. Such a quiet little park, and the staff made this trip memorable. Thank you!
