Springsure Hotel Motel

Dinner at the pub was country style, with a big, tender crumbed steak and a very good wine list. Good food deserves decent quality wine. The staff were friendly too. I booked into the motel and found clean rooms with a TV, air con, hot shower, tea, and coffee. Best of the two hotels in town.

Greg was even willing to pick us up from the local caravan park, which helped make it a nice night. All four of us ordered the reef and beef, with three large prawns and three large scallops each, and a nice sauce. Nobody had a complaint. As Greg said, all meals were under $30. The beer and wine were cheaper than at all the other places, too. Best pub meal on our travels.

Six stars for Connie, mate. You won't find a meal like this anywhere else in Springsure. This was takeaway from what we call the middle pub.

We were interstate truck drivers from SA, working in the area, and stopped in for a meal and a drink. The service and food get 10/10 from us. Bar staff and the cook were extremely friendly. I had rump steak and veggies, and it was the most tender pub steak I've had in Qld on this trip. My fiancée's chicken schnitzel and veggies was the best-tasting schnitzel we've had in a long time. Best pub meal in town, and highly recommended if you're passing through springsure.
