Anchor Wheel Motel

Attila made sure we could get into our room after reception had closed. He emailed and texted us, and even left a note on the door. He clearly wants guests to have a good stay, and his recommendations worked out perfectly for us. The rooms are new, the bed is comfortable, and the shower pressure is just right. A lovely place to stay.

The price was very reasonable, and it's a nice distance from the city centre and St Helens Serpentarium. Parking right outside the apartment was great. We stayed here for the second time and enjoyed both visits. The owner gave us a warm welcome and two maps with attractions and places to eat, which was handy since we didn't know St Helens well. Our apartment was exceptionally clean, with roomy bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. There was lots of storage, air conditioning and a heat pump in each room, and a double shower that two people could use at once. A cozy, clean place to get away to.

Parking right outside, no stairs, and free kitchen and laundry made the stay easy. The motel has been beautifully renovated, with a comfy bed and a spotless bathroom. The receptionist was very helpful, pointing out places to eat and see so we could enjoy our time. Would definitely recommend it.

It's easy to get around the North East Coast from here, so this would make a handy base for exploring the area. The motel is close to central St Helens and easy to find, with a fair price for what you get. My room was recently renovated and incredibly comfortable. I was travelling alone and thought it was amazing, though it would also be a romantic place to stay with a partner.
