Queechy Cottages

Steve and Heather were so welcoming and found room for us even though they’d planned to close over Christmas. The clean, spacious rooms were very comfortable, and it’s an easy walk into town along a good walking path. There’s also a BBQ for cooking. We’d definitely stay again.

Room 26 at Queechy felt like a home away from home, with a lovely private feel and a beautiful view. It was very clean and comfortable, with two TVs, a spacious bathroom, free laundry facilities, and cheerful, friendly service. Just a stone’s throw from the water, and the sunset view was the best. Highly recommend staying here.

We liked having a queen bed and a single in separate rooms. When we travel, my partner and I sleep apart if we can because one of us snores, guess who, and it saves me getting elbowed all night. Then we saw reception’s sign saying using an extra bed unnecessarily means a $15 laundry fee. Management, if you charge for a room, everything in it should be available to the occupant unless that restriction was clearly stated when booking. Good luck defending that sign or threat in a legal challenge.

A great place to rest while riding along the East Coast. Steve was friendly and very accommodating, and our room even had a sea view.
