St Marys Hotel

I could've stayed the whole 9 days if I could. The owners were kind and caring, and the staff were helpful and lovely to talk to. The meals were delicious and generous, the chefs were great, and the girls behind the bar were so helpful. It's a real country hotel, with great rooms to sleep in and the best atmosphere. I felt like family and didn't want to leave this beautiful place. Thank you so much for all your kindness. Highly recommended xx

If your room is above the main bar, Friday and weekend nights can get loud downstairs, so bring earplugs. I brought mine and the pub noise wasn't an issue. The beds are a little hard, though comfortable enough for a night or two if you're fussy. It's an old pub, so for the price I can't complain. Tony and the kitchen and bar staff made me feel very welcome as an out-of-towner visiting from interstate. Tony answered all my questions about neighbouring towns and showed me around the facilities. The old pub has lots of character, and the locals and staff are friendly. It suits families with kids, couples, solo backpackers, or anyone after an affordable stay. The rooms had heaters, lamps, and enough space for a short visit. Bathrooms and rooms were pretty clean, with soap, shampoo, conditioner, and fresh towels provided. Breakfast had assorted cereals, toast, spreads, tea, and coffee. I slept comfortably enough, and I'll be back.

There's plenty of parking behind the place, and the balcony had a wonderful sunset view. Guests can use the sitting room with TV, tea and coffee, books, and I think some games. A large dining area has a fridge and microwaves, and breakfast is set out there for self-service. The rooms are basic, but the beds are comfortable and electric blankets are provided. Meals at the restaurant were delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay and great value. I'd happily stay again!

The restaurant handled my dietary needs without any trouble. The staff and owners were friendly, easy to talk to, and made us feel at home. Everything was clean and welcoming. They gave 100% to making us comfortable, and we'll stay again next time we holiday here.
