A traditional B&B still being run this thoughtfully was a lovely surprise. The hosts and the place both went beyond what we expected. There were so many considerate touches, including port in the room, topped up each day, and a heated towel rack switched on for our return from activities. Such a nice stay.

We wished we could have stayed longer. Karen was welcoming and helpful, marking directions to Port Arthur on a map because GPS isn't as reliable for that route, and suggesting dinner places a short walk away. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were shelves of DVDs in the hallway, and we enjoyed looking at the night sky from the little balcony. Breakfast was delicious and so generous that my husband and I couldn't finish it. Thanks, Bob, for the cooking.

We were welcomed warmly and had a lovely chat before being shown around the B&B. The room felt fresh and clean, and there was plenty of space. We made use of the spa tub in the bathroom that evening. In the morning they served homemade breakfast and introduced us to the other guest. A really beautiful experience, and we'd recommend it to friends and family.

The coastline is only a few steps away, and we could watch the sunrise from our room. At night the stars were everywhere, a view you don't get in the city. Karen was a friendly, helpful host who made us feel welcome. The place was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Really great stay, highly recommend.

Karen and Bob were lovely hosts, happy to chat even though we arrived a little early, and they shared advice for the rest of our trip when we left. The apartment was spacious and well appointed, with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was included and had a good range, both cooked and uncooked, including cereal, fruit, juice and yoghurt. Five out of five from us.
