Nine Mile Escape

Our dog didn't want to leave at the end, and neither did we. Nine Mile Beach is right in the backyard, often feeling like our own private beach because no one else was around. We watched the sunrise from our room every day and walked along the shore many times. Wineries, Freycinet and other places are close by. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the bed and pillows were good, and we slept to the sound of the waves. The heater worked well. We spent plenty of time on the sea-view balcony with coffee, wine or a book, enjoying the quiet and the birds in the bush. There were standard facilities, a gas stove, microwave, BBQ, firepit and kayak. For coffee lovers, there was a fancy machine and grinder with beans, plus pod coffee and a plunger pot. Lots of choices, depending on how much effort we felt like making. We'll definitely return.
