Bankstown Motel 10

We booked through booking just 2-3 hours before arriving in sidney, and everything was ready when we got to the motel. There was a place to park the car, and the rooms were nice and clean. If we’d had more time in sidney, we definitely would’ve stayed here for the following days too. Thanks so much. ☺️

We booked three months ago and are staying here now with my parents for three days. The conditions have made the visit unpleasant, despite my hopes for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning didn’t work in weather around 35°C, and I sweated through two nights without sleeping properly. The beds are uncomfortable too. We were put in the hotel’s extended area, where painting is underway, and the smell has been very strong and unpleasant.

The shower was great and roomy, and the bed was so good I couldn’t keep the missus out of it. The rooms are great, and both the owner and staff were accommodating and focused on customers. The owner is really down to earth too. I’m working temporarily out of Chullora workshops as a rail worker, and Motel 10 has won me over. We’ll switch our work motel to this one. Best motel in the general area for rail workers. Highly recommended.

Absolutely horrible and filthy, zero stars. The pillows had dirt and hair, the bed sheets smelled and had stains, and there was mould in the bathroom. The cushions stank, the furniture was filthy, and the fridge had a couple of food stains and a really bad smell. The kettle was rusty and the cups dusty. It says pet friendly, but if you leave the room you have to leave your card in to keep the lights on. It was super noisy too.
