Our anniversary stay was a lovely one. The room had towels arranged like birds, a rose, and a handwritten congratulatory card waiting for us. Ryan at reception was especially helpful, cheerful, and fantastic to deal with, and every staff member we encountered offered a smile and a kind bit of hospitality. The bathroom had no fan, which was a little annoying, and we had to keep the door shut or the fire alarm would go off. Still, we enjoyed our stay and will be back. Hope someone enjoyed the bottle of wine we left in the fridge :)

The rooms were quiet and very clean, with daily housekeeping and a handy little kitchen setup. The air conditioning was good, and the bathroom had everything we needed, including a good shower. There's a bus stop right outside, with Sydney University and the hospitals nearby, and Glebe and Newmarket are close for eating out.

We could get to the waterfront easily and cheaply by public transport, since there's a bus stop right beside Best Western Camperdown. A laundromat nearby also let us wash our clothes before check-in. Our flight from Bali landed at 9:00 a.m., so we asked for an early check-in. Hotel Manager Vernice was very accommodating, including when we needed an upgrade after our son decided to stay with us instead of extending his Bali trip. The cleaning staff worked quickly and had an immaculate room ready by 11:00 a.m. We had booked through an Online Travel Agency, and I usually find hotels less accommodating with those reservations than with direct bookings, but that wasn't the case here.

Getting around Sydney was easy from Best Western Camperdown, and the reception staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Thanks to the reception and housekeeping teams for being so kind and doing such a great job. I had a wonderful stay.

Ryan at reception was super lovely and helped me get a room at the last minute for my partner, so he could easily visit me at RPA. He also arranged an early check-in, which was really helpful because my partner had things to store in the fridge. Fantastic customer service!
