Bondi Beach Rentals

They guaranteed that nobody would enter my rented space during my stay unless there was an emergency like a fire. A few days before I arrived, they said strangers would come into my unit for pest control, with or without my consent. They also said they wouldn't be responsible for anything of mine that was stolen or damaged, while I'd be liable for damage to anything in the unit. They refused to refund me. The people were rude, had tons of rules, made promises they didn't intend to keep, and didn't care about guests' safety or comfort. This was the worst accommodation I've ever booked. If you're a solo female traveler, DO NOT STAY HERE. Keep yourself safe.

You can get to just about everything on foot from here, from shops and public transport to the beach, bars, and restaurants. The living room has a great sea view, and the pictures are accurate. The air b&b is very well equipped, with a fully functional kitchen, plates, pots, pans, washing facilities, games, towels, and more. It's right on Bondi beach, and I'd happily stay again.

I'm posting for my daughter and son, who had booked a Bondi stay over Christmas and New Year with SydneyDreams. SydneyDreams cancelled the booking, saying Air b&b couldn't process the payment. We hadn't received any earlier email or notice about a payment problem. I checked with my bank and found the declined charge was on a card cancelled after it was stolen. I quickly updated the payment details and contacted SydneyDreams, but they wouldn't reinstate the booking. They later offered a refund of two pence, which seemed unreasonable. My children were left without accommodation during a peak period and lost money. They had recently witnessed a traumatic event, and at a time when the Bondi community should have been pulling together, the customer service and empathy felt off the scale of awful. Air B&B was equally awful to deal with. Update: Sydney homes sent a note saying they'd rented the property to someone else for New Year, so they were getting paid twice. They promised a possible refund, but it hasn't happened. The only money sent back is two pence, repeatedly refunded to an old card. I keep telling air b&b that the card doesn't work. It seems the left arm isn't talking to the right. I'm still waiting to hear from either of them.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean, with comfy beds and beautiful views. It's right across from the beach, with lots of places to eat nearby and convenient transport. My only complaint is the 5pm check in. Judy
