If showering with cockroaches and everyone’s hair sounds good to you, this place is perfect. We couldn’t even touch the shower walls, they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bed was dusty, too. The toilets were a mess, with wet toilet paper piled beside them and water and pee everywhere. Some were pissing toilet paper and door locks. We couldn’t sit on the toilet seats, and the bathrooms were so filthy we didn’t dare eat in the hostel in case our shower friends joined us. There were over 15 garbage bags piled at the bottom of the stairs when we arrived, smelling worse than the stench from the men’s bathroom. We paid $35 each night for a twin room and were still charged $25 for checking out half an hour late. I dreaded returning to the hostel for the two nights we stayed. I’d never go back. Spend your money elsewhere, even if it costs more.
