Caption By Hyatt Central Sydney

We loved being right in Chinatown, with food shops, Market City, light rail stops, and just about everything else within easy walking distance. The Talk Shop Cafe inside the Caption served excellent fries and burgers, too. Our room was bright, spacious, very clean, and had a perfect bathroom. The rain shower stood out, with great water pressure. There are only three elevators, but they were efficient and quick. We never waited more than a minute. Thanks to Lieony Sari and the whole staff for making our stay so good. My wife and I had a wonderful time and will be back. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant, and both were very good. The coffee was great there and in the lobby cafe, too. I also really liked the water stations and carafe, and having a little fridge in the room was handy. The hotel sits on a quiet street in a buzzy area, with really easy public transport connections. The staff were friendly and professional, and housekeeping did an excellent job. It was our first stay at a Caption, and we liked it a lot. I think it's competing with Marriott's Moxy or Aloft, but in my opinion this is better. Great air con, very comfortable beds and pillows, lovely bed linen, and very good wifi.

The Lychee Iced Tea cocktail is what I'll come back for. It was beautifully presented, refreshing, and full of real lychee flavour. The sweetness was nicely balanced, and it had plenty of character. Easily one of the best lychee cocktails I've had in a long time. It's a convenient spot, a short walk from Sydney’s Chinatown and close to so much of the city. The relaxed atmosphere, good quality, and reasonable prices made the visit really enjoyable. Great value, too.

Stephanie and the whole team made our anniversary night feel really special. We were welcomed with a thoughtful congratulatory note and a bottle of wine, which made the stay feel personal. The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable, so we had a restful night. The location is great, surrounded by restaurants and nightlife. My partner and I stayed for one night and would highly recommend the hotel for a memorable, relaxing stay.
