The hotel was clean and comfortable, but I wasn't happy with how the card hold was handled. After we paid the $155 owing at checkout, I got home and saw that $160 was still frozen in my account as an impending charge. The hotel said this was normal and that they'd fax our bank to release the funds. Many emails later, five days after our stay, the money was still frozen. Not happy, Chifley. Fellow travellers, be aware.

We managed to get a room at the last minute during a busy period. They met our needs with a baby cot and a pull-out bed. There are some great places to eat nearby, and we had great service at Penrith Panthers Club.
