The Pad Hostel was clean and well organized, and the staff were friendly and glad to share city tips. I liked its slightly boujee style, which felt a bit more elevated than a typical hostel. It was relaxed enough to meet other travelers, yet quiet enough to sleep well. Getting around Sydney was easy from here. I had a great stay and would definitely come back!

I spent three months here, and it became a home away from home. The social setup really helps: the kitchen, common area and rooftop are right beside each other, so it's easy to get talking to people. I met lots of great folks and made friendships. It's also conveniently placed between the city and the beach. I'll always remember my time here fondly. If you want a friendly, welcoming hostel where it's easy to be social, this is a great spot :))

I only stayed one night a while back, so things may have changed since then. It's a cute, intimate hostel with nice staff, decent rooms and a comfy bed. The location was pretty good too, close to lots of restaurants and shops. I'd come back for a lowkey stay. I do wish everyone had their own plug instead of sharing one power strip in the corner. And though it was “new,” it could use a touch-up. The bathroom soap dispenser was broken and sitting on the counter, the wall paint was uneven and different shades of white, and the bathroom finishes were shoddy. Maybe I'm picky, but fixing those little things would help it match the “bougie” feel.

The location put loads of great spots nearby, and the rooms were clean, spacious and really comfortable. The whole place felt welcoming and friendly, with staff who went out of their way to make me feel at home. Pad Hostel is one of the best hostels I've stayed in, amazing value, and I'd highly recommend it. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
