The gym was spectacular, and we made use of The Bunker passes. This lovely boutique hotel is right in the heart of Surrey Hills. We liked the rooms, style, and decor, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Communication was clear and informative. The complimentary food was excellent, and the “honor” bar was perfect. Highly recommended!

The location is unreal, right among Surry Hills’ best spots. Bourke Street bakeries are two minutes away, Chin Chin or Nomad are five minutes, and the CBD is ten, while the street itself stays quiet and the hotel feels tucked away. With only 35 rooms, it’s intimate and never crowded, and the whole place just feels cool. My Urban room was perfect, with high ceilings, huge heritage windows full of light, a very comfy king bed, and a rain shower with Crystalbrook amenities that smell amazing. Each room is different. Mine had bold art, textured walls, and retro touches that made me want to move in. The hotel sits in a stunning 1903 heritage building, a former convent school, and mixes old Sydney character with modern luxury. Staff were next-level friendly, remembered my name, shared great local tips, and sorted things without fuss. It’s boutique priced, but the character, quality, and location beat the big chains for me. I’m counting down to my next stay. If you want Sydney style without a cookie-cutter corporate feel, book Crystalbrook Albion. You’ll thank me later. 🏛️✨

We rushed to Crystalbrook at midnight because the noise from a hotel in the city was unbearable. The duty manager quickly helped us get a room and was so helpful. That really made our trip. The staff were incredibly caring, and the hotel was exceptional.

The location is good, and check-in and checkout went fine, but at this price we wouldn’t stay again. Our Master room didn’t live up to the photos. It was pleasant enough but small, with a tub, and sat at the bottom of the first-floor stairs facing a brick wall. The place felt more like a hostel than a “4 star hotel”.
