The service deserves five stars. My flight was delayed, and just before closing I called to say I’d arrive way after they shut. He said it was no problem and that he’d keep an eye out for me. Everything went smoothly. For a five-star hotel, I’d rate the room three stars. But I wanted somewhere affordable yet nice, and it delivered on that, so five stars for what I was after. You get what you pay for.

I was happy with how this turned out. I’d booked a week at the venue but couldn’t make the trip because of a medical appointment two days before leaving. They initially refused a refund, which came down to miscommunication, but eventually agreed to return the full amount. Be clear when communicating with them. They can help.

I waited in the lobby for hours at check-in and nobody came to let me into my room. There was no Wi-Fi, reception or phone number to call, so I had to cancel the booking. They still wouldn’t refund me for their mistake. Don’t stay here!

Right above China Town, with a great location for a city visit. The room was clean and cosy, with everything I needed for two nights. Parking was close by at first parking darling quarter.
