The chicken wings were crispy and tasty, and the rump was nicely cooked with a good charred flavor. The mushroom sauce was pleasant but could use more flavor and seasoning. My French martini went down well too. The food and cocktails were very affordable. Service was friendly and efficient, and our food came out quickly. They have QR ordering for drinks and bar snacks, but other lunch dishes need to be ordered at the counter. There’s plenty of parking on site, right next to Dan Murphys. I went in for lunch and would return.

There’s lots of parking, plenty of seats, and the gaming room is well set up with lovely lighting. It’s a cozy place near Woodville Golf course, with easy access after a round. The bistro has delicious, budget friendly food and different offers in the hotel.

The fish and chips were excellent, with crisp batter and flaky, moist fish. My mate enjoyed his juicy, flavorful burger too. We got friendly, efficient service from our server, who I think was Mavis. There’s a good range of beers on tap, including a couple of local brews, and a decent wine list. The food was classic pub fare done really well. I visited Golfview Hotel Motel last night and was impressed. I’ll definitely be back.
