Homi Central

Chris was genuinely friendly and helped me with everything. The free washer and dryer were a real plus, and being close to Central Station worked perfectly for me since I was often out and about. My single room was spacious enough to live in for months, and it had air conditioning. The bathroom layout was odd: the toilet was in the shower area, so it got wet whenever someone showered. Some showers were closed for weeks, and the kitchen was often messy, though that comes with lots of people sharing a place. Great value for the location, with room for the quality to improve.

The location made getting around Sydney easy, with the bus and train networks close by. I shared a four-bed room with three friends and we had a good time. Homi Central is clean, social, and a nice hostel, and Chris and his wife are friendly and easy to reach. I’d definitely recommend it :)

I spent nearly a year here and had a great experience. The service was great too, and it was really convenient for getting around. I’d recommend it to students and travellers.

I’m travelling solo from Germany and have been here for a month, sharing a four-bed room with friends. It’s a nice balance: you get some privacy, but the hostel still feels social. The shared kitchen and bathrooms are good and get cleaned several times a day. Chris and his wife are there to help if anything comes up. I’d happily stay here again!
