The pork ribs were the standout for me: slow-cooked until tender enough to fall off the bone, with a sticky glaze that balanced smoke and sweetness. The peri peri chicken had a lively hit of spice without overpowering everything, and stayed juicy under its nicely charred outside. Halloumi fries came out crisp and golden, salty and chewy in the middle, and were great for sharing alongside the mains. I tried all three on a recent visit. The friendly service and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere rounded out a satisfying meal. A good choice when you're after hearty grilled meat and indulgent sides.

There are lovely bars, original timber details and little hidden spaces around every corner. The Bistro is a relaxed place to enjoy fresh-cooked food, and the staff and management were fantastic, supportive and helpful. It's a warm, welcoming pub, and I highly recommend this nostalgic hotel for a quick drink and a meal or a short stay. It's just a hop and a skip from Westfield and the train station, with the Pacific Highway around the corner. We'll be back. Thank youxxxxxx

The rooms could use a little updating, which I think they're working on, and the parking area is really tight. Even so, this is a great-value old hotel with clean rooms and friendly, accommodating staff. There's a restaurant and pub on site if you need them, and Westfield Mall is close by for shopping. It's near the train station, which is handy for getting into Sydney. I'd rather take the train to the CBD than drive. Two thumbs up!

Good food and service, with a lovely covered outdoor balcony that's dog friendly. The place is close to the shopping centre and has traditional pub vibes, but it's modern and super clean. No complaints.
