We had a clean-smelling room with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. Some areas were a bit run down and could use fresh paint, but it was clean. The reception staff were lovely and found parking for us at the last minute. They'd also put up ATEEZ balloons as a reception backdrop, which was adorable since so many ATINY (ATEEZ fandom name) chose to stay here. The parking lot was ideal, with an elevator straight down from our floor. The look of the place wasn't perfect, but the location and hospitality were. If you need to stay near Qudos Bank Arena, I'd book here. I'd read some bad reviews, but it really wasn't as bad as they made it sound. Keep an open mind and don't expect Hiton standards for a budget hotel, and you'll be fine.

The bed was comfortable, and both the air-conditioning and shower worked well. But broken window blinds, harsh white fluorescent lighting with no cover over the tube, and walls that needed painting gave the room a tatty feel. A few small fixes would have made it lovely, but it never felt like a haven to return to.

I woke up itching all over after a night on a lumpy bed, with plenty of noise coming through from the corridor and nearby rooms. The room itself was tiny and dated, with just a curtain separating it from the little bathroom. There was old alcohol in the fridge beneath a scuffed table, and the underside of the mattress had a slash in it. I was there in March 2026. The place felt like it had been left to deteriorate for decades: dirty, water-damaged, mouldy wood, stained walls and a large hole that looked as if someone had kicked it. I wasn't expecting five-star standards at a budget hotel, but I did expect a decent bed and a clean room. Neither was there. When I asked to check out early after such a terrible stay, the staff seemed either sad or somewhat hostile. Scungy, please don't stay.

I was wary after reading the low reviews, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable, which covered what I needed: an insect-free, comfortable place to sleep. The stadium was right across the street, and Accor was close by too. Front desk staff gave me a friendly welcome. The room is small, and having the shower and sink right beside the bed looked odd to me. There were marks on parts of the wall and stains on the shower curtain, so I docked a star for the room. I can't really judge the price since someone else booked my stay.
