Lush on Lurline

We had such a lovely stay. The apartment feels warm and welcoming, with large rooms, distinctive decor, and everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, and the central heating, electric blanket, and other comforts kept us cozy on sub-zero nights. Jilea is friendly, helpful, and clearly cares about the space she has created. It’s a beautiful place with a character all its own.

The garden and beautiful furnishings are lovely, and the house is pristine and very well kept. It’s full of character and taste, and the host couldn’t be friendlier. You can walk to the 3 sisters from this great location. A must when in Katoomba!

Please pay attention to the review star rating summary. There are loads of odd rules to follow, and while the host seems conscious about energy use, the window coverings were poor and the heater was ancient and wasteful. Her review of us as guests was rude, insulting, and inaccurate. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

This apartment has a boldly colorful look that takes you through Asia, along the Silk Road into Central Asia and Eastern Europe, with a quick stop in Morocco. There’s an elegant Bohemian feel, a touch of Victoriana, and some impressive modern tech, including a big screen telly and Bose accoutrements. Think Persia, Tibet, and Mata Hari. It’s for the traveller in your gypsy soul. The place is super clean and spacious, and the host is warm, friendly, and accommodating. Just say yes!
