Manly Bunkhouse - Hostel

What stays with me is the feeling of real connection. This wasn’t just somewhere to sleep, it was laughs, good times, memories, and new friendships. My stay was entirely positive, and I’ll definitely come back. From day one the atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, and full of good energy. Angus, Mara, Jason and Rosie, I hope I spelled your names right, thank you for the kindness, smiles, chats, and the environment you create. You made a real difference to my time traveling. It honestly felt more like family than a hostel. If you’re hesitating over the reviews, take it from someone who stayed and lived the experience. I’d recommend it 100% with my eyes closed. I’ve stayed in other hostels, and this is the best option in Manly for sure. It works well for spending a few weeks or months without needing to look for a room in a shared flat. It’s laid-back and easy to make friends. There’s a great backyard and space to store surfboards. Each room has its own bathroom, which is a bonus, and there’s also a small, quiet room where you can work on your computer remotely.

Run by a lovely family who are helpful and make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The rooms, communal area, and outdoor space are all lovely, and there’s a BBQ too. It’s an amazing hostel, just a short walk from Manly beach.

The kitchen and rooms are set up well, and the staff are lovely. I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at this well-run hostel. I’d definitely stay again if I come back to Manly.
