Mercure Sydney Macquarie Park

All the staff were cheerful and quick to help, and the breakfast buffet was decent with plenty of choices. You can even eat outside and share your table with local cockatoos when they fly in. The room was clean and functional, especially for a stay of a few nights or more, with a small kitchenette including a sink, kettke, microwave, plates, cups, and cutlery. There's also a self-serve guest laundrey. It's a great hotel if you're visiting Macquarie University hospital or clinic, and I'll definitely stay again.

We were a somewhat complicated group, but the staff made us feel that nothing was a problem. The service was second to none from the moment we arrived, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Thank you to everyone working at about 330 in the afternoon on saturday 28 February. You were amazing.

Breakfast was nicely presented, with fresh food replenished in small amounts often, and our room had a nice view of the trees. It was easy to find parking thanks to the clear directions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were obliging and professional from welcome to departure. Macquarie Park was handy for where we were heading. We plan to return.

My only complaint was the soundproofing. One night, noise made it hard to sleep: I could hear the neighbor on the left watching a movie, someone above walking, and people in the corridors walking and talking, even though they were being reasonably quiet. People outside the hotel were chatting at a normal volume, and guests opening and closing doors startled me awake a couple of times. Otherwise, everything was top notch. The staff are awesome and the place is great.
