Meriton Suites Chatswood

Matthew and Ayusha at the front desk made my three-night visit memorable. They were professional and genuinely caring, and went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. The service was warm, polished, and proactive throughout. My stay at Meriton Suites Chatswood was flawless, quite literally more perfect than perfection. I can’t recommend it highly enough if you want to feel like a priority in Chatswood. Thanks, Matthew and Ayusha. I’ll be back!

The staff were so friendly and made our holiday feel extra special. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

The train station is an easy three-minute walk away. The room was spacious and generally clean, and everything else was pretty nice. Parking costs A$30 per day, is open 24 hours, and allows re-entry. The kitchen exhaust and microwave need attention: both were dripping oil and hadn’t been cleaned. The full-size fridge seems old, as its motor is loud.

The apartment view from the 20th floor was fantastic both day and night, and the bed was comfortable. The young man at reception during checkout was the only pleasant person we dealt with. For the price, this was really disappointing. Never again! Check-in was unpleasant from the start. There was no smile or welcome, and we felt like problem number 135 in a long day. The wardrobe doors were fitted backwards, so the handles were on the inside and opening them was a problem. The bedside tables were tiny, and the lamps were so dim they were useless for reading. The kitchen drawers were really hard to open and close. The broken toilet roll holder tipped the roll onto the floor. Funny, unless you were alone and needed it. There’s no restaurant on site, so I asked for breakfast suggestions. I was told to walk around the railway station, where there are lots of cafes, but most were takeaway places with no seating. Westfield is less than a ten-minute walk away, yet nobody mentioned it.
