The rooms are very small, and the service could be a lot better. Check-in is difficult if you're an international traveler without an Australian phone number. There are better places available for around $100 a night.

I've stayed here a number of times and haven't been disappointed. It's super clean and just around the corner from the train station. You do need to be okay with sharing a bathroom, though there are plenty to choose from.

There are some really good restaurants nearby, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location itself was quiet, and the beds were super comfortable.
