Prospect Hotel Motel

The service felt disorganised, and the food quality fell short of what I expect from a restaurant. My parents ordered, then were told four orders were ahead of them, so they had a long wait. Busy venues happen, but the way this was handled didn’t feel understanding or professional. We had to ask for basic things like serviettes, spoons and forks with our meals. First we were offered a refund, then told a complimentary dessert had been given to make up for the poor service. Neither addressed how poorly managed the whole experience felt. It didn’t meet the standard I expect when dining out. I hope the feedback leads to improvements.

Anderson was the best, sorting us out with trailer parking and a room nearby. The room was spacious, really clean, and had heaps of complimentary stuff. It’s an older motel, but everything seems new or restored, and honestly, cleanliness matters most. We thought it might be loud, but it wasn’t. A great stopover and a hidden gem. We’re looking forward to trivia tonight at the beautifully restored hotel, and the meal choices look amazing. Only taking off a star because the room smelled a bit until we aired it out.

The Hyland room felt lovely and welcoming for the wake we held for our beautiful mother at The Prospect Hotel on Tuesday 11th November. Lisa, Lily and the whole team were supportive and professional from start to finish, and nothing was a problem. The food was amazing, including the gluten-free options, and the staff there on the day were warm and friendly. That made a sad day much more comforting. Our guests had plenty of praise for the room, the food and the staff. Thanks again to everyone. We look forward to holding more gatherings here. Thank you, The Sultana Family

The fish and chips were great, with crunchy, well-seasoned chips and a nice salad. Mum had the chicken schnitzel, cooked perfectly too. We popped in for lunch and will definitely return and recommend the place.
