Rydges Camperdown

Friendly service, a quiet atmosphere, and a bed that’s soft in a good way. The shower worked well on the 3rd floor. The interior could feel fresher, but it was okay. The restaurant and bar shut at 10 PM. It’s a nice hotel, though not a luxury one.

We stayed here for shows at the Manning Bar, and the location was great. The rooms were tidy, generally clean, and good value, and the staff were helpful. At night, though, staff were absent. Parking is very tight, both at the driveway entrance and in the garage. The spaces are tiny, so don’t bring a big car if you plan to park there.

We enjoyed every minute at Rydges Camperdown. It’s just outside the city, and during the school holidays it was quiet, with the trip into town by Uber taking roughly 20 mins. There are plenty of places close by, including a Pub, servo's, pizza shops, and lots of restaurant options. Breakfast was awesome, and we had 24/7 customer service on the place. Dinner was available, but we didn’t opt for it. This seems like a good place to stay with family or kids. Keep up the great works.

This is my third stay in three weeks while my husband is an inpatient at RPA. Reception staff have been excellent, but the room servicing has missed basic things every time, which is disappointing given the high prices. This time, during a three-night stay, there was just one teabag and no coffee mug, teacups, or face washer. On earlier visits the shower wash bottle was empty, and another time there was only one spoon, glass, and mug. Someone needs to check that the room servicing is being done properly.
