It's too far from town to walk, and the road there is shockingly bad and dangerous at night. Taxis simply don't show up, so don't bother booking one. Be careful on the steps down and bring a torch, since there are no step lights. Watch your head going down to the bedrooms, too; the low clearance isn't made for tall people. The central heating didn't work, which might explain the damp smell downstairs. One bedroom has no air conditioner, so bring your own heater; the other two rooms have good reverse-cycle units. The combustion fire was great and there was plenty of wood. The fridge is wedged into a corner, so only one person can use it at a time. Keep the bathroom and laundry door shut unless you want to look at the loo. If you're with friends, it may not matter much where you lay your head.
