Sydney Conference & Training Centre

The food was the highlight for me. Lunch and dinner were excellent quality, with plenty to suit different tastes. The staff are friendly, and the facilities work well for training or conferences. Since the ownership change early this year, there have been a few small improvements, like new carpet in the large areas, though the rooms are still a little dated. They were comfortable enough for a short stay. Getting here from interstate can take a while, especially from the airport during peak times, as the location is fairly remote.

I had a great time here and couldn't find anything to complain about. The food was lovely, and the staff were kind and helpful. I didn't mind the so-called 'aged rooms', though perhaps my room block was different. The individual rooms were especially helpful, and the beds were huge and comfortable.

The place was well kept, tucked beside bushland, and you can see the sea from the pool deck. In today's 38 degree heat, it occurred to me that boarding here would have been good during the one-day conference, even though I'd never considered it before.

We went for a bushwalk and got lost, then found a few benches here where we could rest. I'd give it five stars, but I've never been inside.
