The kids loved the free games room, and the rest of the staff were kind and friendly. The manager, though, couldn't sort out the booking problem, which was disappointing. Our online reservation was for two adults and two kids, but the rooms we were given had just one double and one single bed, so three of us had to share the double. During the night my son fell out and hit his head on the metal side table. The room was dated, with worn carpet, cracked paint, and a little mould on the ceiling. The bathroom door was jammed, so we couldn't shut out the outside light or have privacy while using the bathroom.

We'd booked two rooms in late July for this weekend, September 11-15, and travelled from Adelaide to check in today. They said there were no bookings under our name. Later, they confirmed they no longer deal with booking.com, and blamed the change of owners. They could have let people know they'd need to book again. The person I spoke to seemed completely uninterested. Pretty awesome to arrive from Adelaide and discover the place you booked doesn't have your reservation. Booking.com is partly to blame too.

They've got pool tables, pokies and TAB, plus good air conditioning. It's family friendly, and the food is the usual pub fare. Nice old pub. They're getting into the Christmas spirit, though that Christmas 🎄 tree still looks like a work in progress.

This is the real deal, an old school pub with live music, and drinks and food at reasonable prices. Can't wait to play there again.
