The Collectionist

The room had a little kitchen with utensils and a microwave, and the bathroom was clean with a roomy shower and quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We slept really well in the comfortable bed. I also loved the leafy private terrace and how quiet and tucked away the place felt once inside. Each room has its own artwork theme. There are restaurants and cafes nearby, plus public transport and covered gated parking. The lobby hosts a daily happy hour. I’d happily recommend The Collectionist and book again.

Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated and better designed than we expected, and the balcony was surprisingly spacious. There was plenty of underground parking too. At first my friend and I weren’t sure how to check in without a reception desk, but we worked it out quickly, and the sweetest staff member showed us around and let us choose from the rooms on our floor. He was so friendly, it felt like he was a friend helping us. I’d stay again without hesitation, 10/10.

Checking out was easy: I just left the room and texted the manager’s phone, with no keys to return. Getting in meant calling the hotel for an entry PIN, since all the doors use digital locks. When I arrived, a staff member showed me around so I could pick a room, and they’re all designed differently. I really liked being able to choose one I liked. The hotel was clean and quiet, with friendly staff, great decor and full facilities. Its design and management felt like an innovative idea, and I was impressed by both the service and the concept.

We were impressed by the hotel once we got inside. From the street, the surrounding buildings had left us a bit underwhelmed, but the interior was a pleasant surprise. Our room had a distinctive design and everything we needed, plus more. The staff were lovely and, although check-in was set for 2PM, they offered to check us in when we arrived at 9AM to leave our bags. I wish we’d stayed longer. 10/10, would recommend.
