The venue has a relaxed, comfortable feel that made it a nice place to sit down for a proper meal, and I'd come back. The steak was the standout: juicy and tender inside, with a lovely char, good seasoning, and plenty of flavour without overwhelming the beef. The sauce worked really well with it. Chips were crisp and golden, though they tasted quite oily, and the salad was tasty but didn't seem completely fresh. A little more care with the sides would have made the meal perfect.

The pub has a laid-back atmosphere and welcoming staff, with plenty of food and drinks to choose from. The squid was really delicious. It's suitable for kids and pets, and I'll definitely go back. Parking behind the hotel is limited, so it's best to arrive before peak hours. Our room was tidy and clean, with air conditioning and a fan, and the shared showers and toilets were clean too.

The chicken parmigiana was absolutely delicious, and the food and service were great. Fridays have free meat raffles, with a ticket for each drink you order. Prizes include meat, fruit, and vegetable trays, a six-pack of Young Henry's beer, and joker poker. It made for a great night with friends and neighbours. Good place to meet people, or just enjoy a quiet beer on your own. Be in it to win it.

Love the Sunday roasts at The Erko. Hugo the seccy is an absolute legend. Since meeting him, my sleep schedule's fixed, my hair stopped falling out, my luck's better, and somehow my bank account's healthier. He keeps the pub safe and apparently the fabric of society together too. Elite venue, staff, and seccy. Hugo deserves a pay rise, maybe even a national holiday in his honour.

We went to the Erko for dinner and watched the womens State of Orgin. The specials were great, and the $25 steak with chips, salad, and pepper sauce was tasty and excellent value. We did have to ask them to put the game on, though, and there wasn't any audio. I know they don't do that for the mens. NSW have won two out of three, so happy days!
