The Maisonette is a charming family-run hotel on Charlies Avenue in the lovely Ports Point precinct of Sydney. I spent two weeks there at the beginning of December and would happily return. Its neighbourhood has lots of character, with good cafés, little local businesses and plenty to explore. My room was just right, clean and comfortable, and the hotel felt thoughtfully put together and well looked after. It was welcoming, clearly designed to make guests feel at home. The staff stood out most: consistently kind, attentive and genuinely caring, always ready to help make sure everything was right. A little gem in a fantastic part of Sydney.

Abi was so helpful and let us into the room early so we could recover after our long flight. The hotel is a lovely little find in the middle of Potts Point, with cafes and restaurants all around. We could walk to the main sights, including the Botanical Gardens for a great view of the Opera House. Thanks so much, highly recommend!

For a family-run boutique hotel in Potts Point, this was really good value. The room had enough space, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean. The staff were welcoming and ready to help throughout. Thanks again!

The only good things were the clean interior and the nice town location. The area was noisy, the room too small, and housekeeping and service were poor. I got only two towels over six days. WiFi didn't work, and my mobile data was no help because there was no signal either. I couldn't work in the room, and it wasn't comfortable enough to rest after a day out. If you're looking for a place to stay here, I'd recommend finding somewhere else.

The area was fantastic, and I had such a great time here. The owner was there when I checked in and was really lovely. My room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I'd definitely come back if I'm in Sydney again. Thanks so much!
