The crispy barramundi is easily the best I’ve ever had, and the outdoor area is a great spot to relax over a meal. The team at the Toongabbie Hotel are friendly and professional, a real credit to the place. I’ll be back often over summer. See you soon! 👏👏

This came back to mind when I saw it listed for $169 a night while looking for a hotel around Blacktown. We stayed a couple of years ago and paid $90 a night. The room was okay, but the power points and kettle didn’t work. The shared bathroom was the worst part. I saw what looked like jellyfish all over the shower floor, and there was an enclosed bathtub where people were having loud sex. I ran out without showering and didn’t use the toilet because I was afraid I’d catch something. Unless they’ve done major renovations, I really don’t think it’s worth it. Sorry for going on, it just brought back a nightmare.

My daughter and I had a pleasant, comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially Raych. Thanks for making things relaxing for us. We’ll definitely return.

The bistro food was amazing. I had a rib fillet followed by chicken Parma when I visited family friends staying at the hotel. The bar staff were great, and the customer service and management were excellent. Had a great night.

The location is really accessible and the staff were good. A cockroach was the one thing that kept the stay from being perfect. It might also help to have a hair dryer and shower slippers in the shared toilet.
