The woman who checked us in was friendly, though the other staff were mediocre. At first the place seemed older but neat and tidy. Looking more closely changed that impression: the balcony hadn’t been tidied, and there were very few of the supplies you’d normally expect at a hotel. The glasses on the shelf hadn’t been washed, and since nobody serviced the room, I had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels. The attached photos show what management considers clean towels. Very disappointing. I usually read reviews before booking, and wish I had this time. Next time I’ll weigh the reviews more than the location. We definitely won’t return.

Lovely river view and clean, tidy rooms, with really good customer service. It stays open late and was open on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. There’s a washing machine with a dryer, which cost five $1 coins to use, and a microwave for warming food. One of the best motels near Sydney city. I’ll come back for my next holiday.

The rooms were very clean and the service was excellent. It’s close to shops, and the Manager Noel went out of his way to help. I recommend this Motel if you’re looking for accommodation.

We booked a Deluxe Twin Room for three people, but when we arrived we were told there was only a Queen bed and that one of us would have to sleep on the floor. The manager and staff were rude, inept, and horrible to deal with, as so many other one-star reviews say. There are so many of those reviews that I wonder how the place is still operating. We will not be back. Do not stay here.

We had a comfortable stay, with a great river view, courteous staff, fresh linen, and cleaning every day. There’s a good-sized backyard where you can use a camp stove for tea, coffee, or snacks, plus a laundromat for longer stays. I recommend the place.
