The rooms are on the small side, though cosy and self-contained, and seemed a good fit for a small family rather than one with several teenagers. It’s peaceful just beyond town, but still less than five minutes away. The onsite staff were very helpful, and for Australia Day weekend the owners and staff left us a hamper of Aussie treats. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out. We had a great stay, thanks!

The cabins were clean and tidy, tucked into a quiet, well-kept forest setting. Yeppoon city center and other amenities are close by. We stayed two nights and didn’t get to meet the owners, unfortunately, but we’d happily come back.

We came back for a second stay, and the friendly staff and clear, concise communication made it easy again. The cabins and grounds are spotlessly clean and well maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of kitchen utensils. It’s professionally run and nothing seems too much trouble. Not pure luxury, but great value for money and one of the best places we’ve stayed.

The park has a tropical island feel, and you can almost forget you’re still on the mainland. Our cabin had everything we needed, and the layout of the place was great too. The pool was clean and there’s a BBQ area. We were lucky to get upgraded to the biggest cabin, which gave our kids a room of their own. I’m sure we’d have enjoyed the other cabins just as much, though. The owners were very friendly. We would’ve stayed longer, but had other plans to get to. If Yeppoon works as a stop on our way back south, we’ll definitely start here again. I’d recommend staying here.
