Tathra Beach Family Park

The gardens, koi ponds, and pools are kept in great shape, and the place felt spotless throughout. The staff were really friendly and seemed to care about the property. We stayed for the first time in an Ocean View Spa room, with a deck overlooking the water that was lovely for breakfast and for reading in the afternoon shade. The room was super clean, with new floors and a newly renovated bathroom that my family was very happy with. They’ve thought of practical extras too, like a bike wash for the nearby trails, showers for rinsing off after the beach, and EV chargers. It’s a very handy spot, with a quick walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants, and chemist.

The apartment had a great sea view and even came with a garage. I also appreciated that they hadn’t used strongly perfumed cleaning products, which would have been bad for my asthma. The king-sized bed was great, and I hadn’t expected a washing machine and dryer. It was well equipped down to salt and pepper. Thanks, we’ll be back.

We liked the unit enough to extend our stay. The pool and spa were the cleanest we’ve swum in, and the gardens were lovely. It’s across the road from the beach and close to cafes, with very friendly staff.

The beach was wonderful and the playground was great for the kids. I spent the summer stay relaxing by the pool. I did notice lots of blue bottles on the beach, so be careful. Apart from that, it was a perfect trip.
